I visited Krisjans Bistro and ordered the Classic Breakfast with sparkling wine, a truly impressive meal. My friend tried the pasta, which was also flavorful and well-prepared. We received our orders promptly, and the peaceful atmosphere made the experience even better. By far, my favorite spot.

We had breakfast there and even came back again at the end of our vacation because we liked it so much. Nice place, smoothies were great, breakfast too.

It was truly excellent, especially for breakfast. As someone with a gluten intolerance, it’s not easy to find places in Windhoek that offer gluten-free options. This place really stood out. Highly recommended for anyone looking for gluten-free options in Windhoek.

A Hidden Gem in Namibia – Krisjan’s Bistro Delivers Perfection! I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Krisjan’s Bistro during my recent trip to Namibia, and I can honestly say it was one of the best culinary experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm, genuine hospitality that immediately made us feel welcome and at ease. The ambiance is charming and relaxed, striking the perfect balance between cozy and refined. But the real magic lies in the food – every dish we tried was a masterclass in flavor and presentation. Fresh, locally sourced ingredients were transformed into plates that were both comforting and creative. Whether it was a perfectly grilled steak, a vibrant vegetarian dish, or their decadent desserts, each bite was absolutely delicious and clearly made with passion. The service was just as outstanding as the food. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely enthusiastic about the dishes they were serving. It’s rare to find a place where you can feel how much pride and care goes into both the kitchen and the front of house. Krisjan’s Bistro is the kind of place that stays with you long after the meal is over. If you’re anywhere near the area, do yourself a favor and make a reservation – this is a dining experience you won’t want to miss!

Well, well, well, Krisjans! My tastebuds (and my patience, bless their little hearts) went on quite the adventure at your establishment. Let's just say it was a meal of delightful highs and a few… ahem… "character-building" moments. First, the hero of our story: the food and drinks. Oh. My. Goodness. My husband, a man of simple pleasures, declared his two Americanos "really good," which, coming from him, is high praise indeed. My Machachino and Coffee Freezo were equally excellent – a true testament to your barista's prowess. And the breakfast? Divine! We split a Classic Breakfast and a Tex Mex Benedict, and both were absolute winners. The portions were spot-on, and the quality truly shone through. No sad, tinned mushrooms here, folks! Krisjans clearly believes in fresh ingredients, and it makes all the difference. The Tex Mex Benedict was a symphony of flavors, and that poached egg? Perfection. Seriously, hats off to the kitchen – you've got some serious talent back there! Now, for the "character-building" part of our journey. Our particular waitress seemed to be operating on a different time-space continuum. We waited a tad long for our drinks, and when the food arrived, it was a "cutlery-optional" experience. After some rather vigorous attempts at telepathy (which, shockingly, didn't work), I eventually had to embark on a quest for forks and knives. And my coffee? It came sugar-free, which, while perhaps a nudge towards healthier living, wasn't quite what I had in mind! However, to be fair, we did notice other waitstaff zipping around with impressive efficiency, so I'm chalking this up to a one-off "quirky" encounter rather than a systemic issue. Despite our brief cutlery conundrum, the overall vibe at Krisjans is charming, and the food truly is fantastic. Just make sure you ask for your sugar upfront and perhaps pack a spork… just in case! Would I go back? Absolutely! With food this good, a little adventure with the service just adds to the story, right?

Food and juice was delicious, came out quickly, and the staff were all very friendly. However, the service did leave us wanting more. Disjointed order taking resulting in mistimed meals being sent to the table, having to remind about items multiple times, and receiving the wrong amount of glasses for water, etc.
